United Overalls first met Blackhorse Lane Ateliers when they had their very first launch party inside what seemed a shell of a building still largely under construction. Blackhorse Lane Ateliers opened its doors in April 2016 and we have since seen it metamorphosis into the leading denim factory in the UK which is why they were always our only choice to work with to produce our jeans. Han and the team share a lot of our ethos when it comes to sustainability and ethical working practices. One of the benefits of making in the UK is being able to visit the factory on a regular basis and knowing that they work under the London Living Wage standard.
