We always love seeing what styles and personalities the launch parties at Clutch Cafe bring into London and the 30th January was no different. It is always good to see the familiar faces of the local menswear scene, a fair few we have been long time fans of ourselves! Labour Rights History

Labour rights are important to us which is one reason why we want as much of our production to take place in the UK. Overseas workers do not have the same protections that people have fought for in the US and here in the UK. Read this great article about one such struggle.

ED-1 #2 Cedric

Today we have some pictures of the second pair of ED-1 jeans we sent out owned by Cedric in London. He has given them a wash in order to shrink the size down slightly and now they fit perfect. The indigo colour really comes through once it has been washed and we can't wait to see what they look like in the future!

What You Receive With The ED-1 Limited Run

When you order a pair of our ED-1 jeans, you aren't just purchasing a pair of jeans. As we have only made 50 pairs we wanted them to be a complete experience that you cannot find anywhere else and will hopefully last you many, many years.

Every pair will arrive in a hand stamped collectors box

Firstly, every pair will come in its own hand stamped box which can be shipped for free worldwide (or Tom can meet you for a pint in London if you prefer.)

Each pair will then come with a back pocket flasher designed by our friend Bayne who goes under the name @blackwaterbluez on Instagram (do check out his work because it is breathtaking!) Each flasher will then be marked with the size and numbered individually so that you know it is truly a 1 in 50 piece.

We also supply each pair with a cut off piece of the denim fabric for you to use as a wash tester or as fabric to mend the jeans with. This will make sure that even your local tailor will be able to repair your jeans in a way that will ensure they will last a very long time indeed! There are no other brands out there who do this so it truly is unique to the United Overalls brand and something that we want to continue in the future as part of our sustainability aims. After all, factories would just throw away all the offcuts they don’t need!

As well as the physical pieces that come with your purchase, you will also be getting the knowledge that your jeans have been made as ethically and sustainably as possible and that they are the very first jeans that are 100% made in the UK to the highest standards in the UK market. There simply isn’t any other brands around that can say they have the same premium details in their jeans that we do (please drop us an email if you think anyone else does!)

Clutch Cafe X Real McCoy's Outpost Launch

We had the pleasure of attending the launch of the Real McCoy's Outpost at Clutch Cafe, a shop on Great Portland Street in London run by the publishing house that produces Clutch Magazine as well as many others. The shop has a focus on rare and unique Japanese brands that share many of the values that we hold to as a brand. ED-1 #3 Nick Gilbert

Here are some photos of the buyer of the 3rd pair of jeans we made, Nick Gilbert. He is wearing a 34” waist while he usually wears a 33” so that he has room for any shrinkage that may occur during washing
